Samurai Spirits Zero

Samurai Spirits Zero (known as Samurai Shodown Zero or Samurai Shodown V in some regions) is a 2D fighting game featuring weapon-based combat with samurai and ninja characters. The game introduced new mechanics like the Rage Explosion system and featured both returning characters and new fighters in the series' signature feudal Japan setting.
