Community Guidelines
Rules and expectations for all Tilt & Token members.
General Conduct
- Treat all members with respect. Harassment, threats, or discriminatory language will not be tolerated.
- Do not impersonate other users, manufacturers, or organizations.
- Keep discussions relevant to arcade and pinball collecting, restoration, and trading.
- Report suspicious activity or rule violations using the built-in flagging tools.
Listing Standards
- Listings are for buying, selling, or trading used arcade games, pinball machines, and parts only.
- Each listing should contain one item only. Do not bundle unrelated items in a single listing.
- Accurately describe your item's condition, including any defects, missing parts, or modifications.
- Use clear, honest photos that represent the actual item being sold.
- Set a reasonable asking price. Price manipulation or bait-and-switch tactics are prohibited.
Transactions & Fees
- If your item sells or is traded through Tilt & Token, a sales fee applies based on the sale price. View fee tiers.
- Trades are considered sales. If your item is traded through Tilt & Token, the standard ending fee applies based on your listing's asking price.
- Boost and promotional fees (bumps, featured, sticky, extended) are non-refundable.
- Unpaid sales fees must be settled before you can create new listings.
- Do not circumvent the platform to avoid fees (e.g., directing buyers to transact off-site after connecting through Tilt & Token).
Prohibited Items
- Counterfeit, pirated, or bootleg PCBs, boards, or cabinets.
- Items that are stolen or whose provenance cannot be verified upon request.
- Non-arcade items (general electronics, unrelated collectibles, etc.).
- Any item that violates local, state, or federal law.
Communication
- Use the built-in messaging system for all transaction-related communication.
- Do not share personal contact information (phone numbers, addresses) in public listings or forum posts.
- Respond to buyer inquiries in a timely manner. Ghosting buyers after accepting an offer is prohibited.
- Do not spam, send unsolicited bulk messages, or use automated messaging tools.
Enforcement
- Violations may result in warnings, listing removal, or account suspension depending on severity.
- Repeated or serious violations (fraud, counterfeit sales, harassment) will result in permanent bans.
- Decisions made by the moderation team are final. Appeals may be submitted via the support channel.
- Tilt & Token reserves the right to update these guidelines at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the current guidelines.
