Defender

Defender is a horizontally scrolling shooter where players control a spaceship defending humanoids from alien invaders on a distant planet. The game features a scanner showing the entire playfield and requires players to rescue falling humanoids while fighting off various alien enemies. It became one of the most influential and challenging arcade games of the early 1980s.
